United Women in faith
United Women in Faith (previously called the United Methodist Women) are holding Monday evening prayer and check-in calls, starting at 7:30 each week. Ask Pastor Kelly if you are interested in finding out more information.
The Glenmont chapter of United Women in Faith (UWF) is deeply invested in spiritual growth and in generous acts of service and witness. We have three active circles (small groups), which meet during the third week of each month:
-
The Sunday Circle meets at 11:30am on the third Sunday of the month;
-
The Day Circle meets at 1pm on the third Thursday of the month;
-
The Evening Circle meets at 7pm on the third Monday of the month.
The Sunday and Thursday meetings are at the church, and Monday evening meetings are at the home of Priscilla Walker. Contact Rosaline Fyle (fylerf@yahoo.com) if you would like to join a circle.

The UWF Quilting Ministry has been active at Glenmont for more than 25 years. Each year, participants make baby quilts and caps to distribute to local hospitals and to give to families in our community.
The UWF also supports local missions projects, including:
-
The Susanna Wesley house for women and children in Baltimore, MD.
-
The Montgomery Women's Center in Rockville, MD.
-
Kairos Outside, a ministry that shares the love of Christ with women who are impacted by a loved one's incarceration.
